Bob's box by robert swadling is a very clever and different variation on the classic okito box. tI is ingenious. Imagine doing a routine where a coin vanishes from the box only to appear underneath a card which was shown to have nothing under it. Then, the coin vanishes and reappears in your hand. And, finally to conclude, the coin penetrates the back of your hand.

Soudn typical? Okay, now imagine doing that routine with absolutely no turnover moves fo any kind. Never. In fact, in the entire routine the lid is never placed on the bottom of the box. Now, imagine the routine is almost virtually sleight-free, as the box and specila coins do 95% of the work for you.

If you can palm a coin, you can do the routine described. If you further combine bob's box with swadling's power pack (also being auctioned by me on ebay at this time, ) you can create some really magical effects. For example, set a pack on a glass, put a coin in the box adn place it on the glass. Now, have a spectator lift the lid and confirm that the coin truly is inside the box (it is. ) now, tell the audience you will cause the coin to penetrate the box and pack into the glass by sheer concentration. You will not as much as touch anything, the box, the deck nor the glass. And, you do jsut that. As the audience watches, you concentrate and suddenly the ocin is seen, and heard, to drop into the clear glass! You then lift the lid to show the box empty and you do so with no turnover moves of any kind, in fact, you need not even take the box off the deck if you wish.
