Multiplying money plate. Rare. Thayer quality magic, well crafted collectible, made otu of mahogany wood. A fine collectible.
Measrues 6.5 x 8 1/4. Some scratches on top, and moer on bottom. As described in thayer catalogue number 8.
The mutiplying money plate is very useful in many effective coin combinations and when used in conjunction iwth any catching money from the air effect. Several coins are countde as they are placed on the plate, after which they are poured immediately into a spectator's hands or a borrowed hat. When again counted, the counts are found to have incresaed in number. In other words, the spectator, having been given, say 8 coins to start with, finds that he now holds 12 coins, or any other number that the performer may wish. The tray is constructed of mahogany and very beautifully finished.
